I sat down with Stav Erez, but not just to talk about her impressive career — we went much deeper.
We started at the very beginning: her childhood in Herzliya, as the daughter of divorced parents. But unlike many common narratives, Stav described her upbringing as warm, stable, and inspiring. Her parents maintained a positive, respectful relationship, and she shared how much time she spent with her father and how much she learned from her mother — a woman with an unstoppable career drive. It’s this combination of emotional stability and ambition that shaped who she is.
We spoke about what it means to be a woman and a mother in leadership, about ambition, burnout, and redefining success. Stav shared candidly the challenges of returning to work after maternity leave, building things from scratch again and again — not just once, but across roles at Siftech, Jnext, Labs/02, and beyond.
What struck me most was her ability to reflect deeply, without ego, on her journey. This episode isn’t just about entrepreneurship or public-sector innovation — it’s about identity, values, and the quiet strength of knowing who you are.
